Your child starts right away with focused one-on-one time, and the group forms around them.
Up to six students and the same teacher, every session, working through Foundations of Mathematics & Pre-Calculus 10 as your child's class moves through it. Teacher-written notes for every session, short homework with answers, and a diagnostic at the start so we know where to begin.
Why a small group works
The same teacher, every session.
Not a different university student each month. I plan every lesson and mark every diagnostic, so by week three I know what your child does when a question gets hard.
The same six students.
They stop performing after the second week. A student who won't say “I don't get it” in a class of thirty will say it to five people they know well.
They see how other people got there.
In one-to-one a student only ever sees their own attempt and my correction. In a group of six they see five other routes through the same question — including the wrong ones, which are usually the more useful.
I taught thirty at a time for twenty years.
Knowing six students well is not the hard part.

From number sense and fractions through the Workplace, Foundations and Pre-Calculus pathways — with the earlier gaps repaired rather than worked around.

Science 9 and 10 — the vocabulary, the problem-solving and the lab reasoning that exams actually test.
Grades 9–10
Physics 11
BC Physics 11 specifically — kinematics, forces, energy and waves. The reasoning behind the formula sheet, practised until the problems stop looking unfamiliar.

One-to-one and small-group sessions are paid one at a time — no subscription, and no pressure to commit before we've met. The group class is the one exception: your child can join any week, with no term to commit to.
One session length, online or in person in Kelowna. Same tutor every week. Online sessions are paid by card; in-person sessions can be paid in cash when I arrive.
Learn together, pay less per student.
Bring a friend, a sibling or a classmate and the price drops for everyone in the session. Every session is still 60 minutes, online or in person in Kelowna, for groups of up to 6 students.
